It was an adventure that he never anticipated. Jian Tian (Hu Ge) is a mischievous young man who works as an assistant at a pawnshop. When he comes across a mystical jade one day, he is transported on a fantasy adventure, where he meets Tang Xue Jian (Yang Mi), a spoiled young woman who is the granddaughter of Tang Kun, the owner of Tang Manor. When an evil cult tries to overtake Tang Manor, Jian Tian and Xue Jian are able to defeat the cult and save the manor, thanks to the help of Xu Chang Qing (Wallace Huo), who is the oldest disciple of the Mt. Shu Sect. The three newfound friends barely have time to catch their breath before they are called upon to help save Mt. Shu from an attack by Chong Lou (Jerry Huang), the ruler of the evil world. Jian Tian, Chang Qing and Xue Jian set off to find five mystical pearls to seal off Mt Shu’s Suo Yao Pagoda from the evil threat. Can they do it in time and save the world from destruction? “Chinese Paladin 3” is a 2009 Chinese drama series directed by Lee Kwok Lap. It is the prequel to the original “Chinese Paladin” (2005) and takes place 50 years earlier in history.
